  • 風力発電、太陽光発電、データセンター、蓄電池システム(BESS)、電力会社、交通・産業インフラ市場における市場開拓を推進する

  • 販売パートナーと協力し、3M製品およびソリューションを活用した技術提案・価値提案を実施する

  • Lab、製造、マーケティング、アプリケーションエンジニアリング、品質保証およびグローバル3Mチームと連携し、新製品導入および市場展開を推進する

  • 担当地域における販売戦略を立案・実行し、売上および利益目標の達成をリードする

  • Salesforce.com(SFDC)を活用したパイプライン管理・分析を行い、事業成果の最大化を図る

Job Summary

The energy and power infrastructure market is currently one of the fastest growing and most dynamic markets, driven by the expansion of renewable energy, a surge in data center demand, and increased investment in battery energy storage systems (BESS).

In this position, with electrical contractors as the primary customers, you will work in collaboration with sales partners to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and market insights, and convert them into concrete business opportunities, thereby maximizing customer value through 3M solutions and achieving sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies for major electrical contractors, and drive specification-in activities and project development.

  • Identify customer needs, challenges, and market trends through continuous dialogue with customers, and create new business opportunities.

  • Drive market development in wind power, solar power, data center, battery energy storage system (BESS), utility, and transportation/industrial infrastructure markets.

  • Work with sales partners to deliver technical proposals and value propositions utilizing 3M products and solutions.

  • Collaborate with Lab, Manufacturing, Marketing, Application Engineering, Quality Assurance, and global 3M teams to drive new product introduction and market deployment.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies in the assigned territory, and lead the achievement of sales and profit targets.

  • Manage and analyze the pipeline using Salesforce.com (SFDC) to maximize business results.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above

  • Sales experience in the electrical construction market, power infrastructure market, or related industries

  • Key account management experience

  • Strategic planning and execution capability

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.com

  • Effective communication skills in Japanese

  • Basic communication skills in English

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience with electrical subcontractors, utilities, EPC companies, or renewable energy companies

  • Knowledge of power cable systems, transmission and distribution equipment, and power infrastructure

  • Work experience in wind power, solar power, data center, or BESS markets.

  • Experience working in a global organization.

  • Knowledge of electrical engineering or related technical fields.
