【本ポジションの概要】
本ポジションは、自動運転システムにおけるFunction Owner（機能責任者）として、担当機能の開発をVモデル全体で主導・推進します。

システム要求の策定から設計、検証、性能評価まで一貫して担当し、Hardware、Software、Validationチームと連携しながら、担当機能の品質・性能・納期に責任を持つポジションです。

また、顧客との技術ディスカッションやテストドライブにも参加し、日本と海外の開発チームをつなぐ技術面での牽引役（オーナシップを持つ存在）として活躍いただきます。

【Divisions and Products】
◎ Valeo Japan consists of four divisions:

１）Power Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.

２）Brain Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS adoption and reinvent the interior experience.

３）Light Division: Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions driving "Lighting Everywhere."

４）Valeo Service Division: Handles after-sales services for all products across Divisions 1 to 3.

[Position Overview]
In this role, as a Function Owner for Autonomous Driving Systems, you will drive and promote the development of assigned functions across the entire V-Model.

You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery from defining system requirements to design, verification, and performance evaluation and will be accountable for the quality, performance, and delivery timelines of your assigned functions in collaboration with the Hardware, Software, and Validation teams.

Also, you will participate in technical discussions and test drives with customers, serving as a technical driving force (a key player with ownership) bridging the development teams in Japan and overseas.

◎ Customer Requirements Analysis & Technical Negotiation

• Creation and updating of functional requirement specifications
• Architectural design
• Requirements traceability management

◎ Technical Owner

• Serve as the technical lead for assigned functions.
• Attend technical meetings with customers.
• Support test drives.
• Coordinate technical matters with overseas development teams.

◎ Quality & Performance Management

• Set KPIs.
• Review test strategies.
• Evaluate system performance.
• Conduct design reviews.

◎ Problem Solving

• Resolve issues in collaboration with Hardware, Software, and Validation teams.
• Manage specification changes.
• Address technical challenges.

[Requirements]

• Experience as a Function Owner: 3+ years (*Technical expertise is highly emphasized).
• Deep understanding of ADAS functions (ability to comprehend requirements, write requirement specifications, create internal ADAS specifications, and evaluate test results).
• Knowledge and practical experience in Systems Engineering (ASPICE).
• Knowledge of Software Engineering (including AUTOSAR).
• Experience/knowledge related to parking systems, navigation systems, radar, or ECU development.
• Japanese: Intermediate (Between conversational and business level).
• English: Business level or higher.

[Preferred Qualifications]
