A Sales Account Manager actively works to identify and meet the needs of current and perspective customers by promoting and selling DuPont's AIT (Advanced Imaging Technologies) LED Silicones and Display Materials. This person will be seconded to DTSM-JV, and act as the sales person for the JV, having those listed responsibilities.
Identify and develop selling projects around commercial and developmental opportunities for AIT solutions in Japan LED packaging & Display market.
Effectively manage a key direct & distribution account and deliver upon annual growth targets.
Develop and lead strong multi-functional account teams (Technical Service, R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Customer Service) to effectively interface with customers.
Successfully convert opportunities to sales growth.
Develop Account Plans for Strategic Accounts.
Achieve a high level of penetration across multiple functions (Procurement, Technology, Commercial, and Management) within customer base, maintaining strong relationships at all levels of customer organization.
Effectively utilize available tools such as strategic entertainment and management interface to build customer relationships in line with account plans.
Use account planning tools, margin management tools, and electronic technology to develop and share account plans with appropriate stakeholders.
Develop and builds relationships with internal and external customers and influencers.
Produce appropriate sales forecasts
Recognize, anticipate, and solve customer problems resulting in business opportunities and revenue growth.
Achieve sales goals and objectives in assigned territory as derived by business strategies and marketing plans.
Possess a thorough knowledge of assigned DuPont products and targeted applications.
Share business and industry intelligence with DuPont AIT counterparts (marketing, research and development, tech service, customer service, etc) to promote increased revenue and value
Effectively manage sales terms and credit with assigned customers.
Act as the sales person as liaison of ST and PV, supporting SOX requirements as JV.
Act as the representative of Display Material in legal entity DDPSPJ, under SLA
BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electronics Engineering or related field preferred
A minimum of 5 years of Electronics Industry (LED Packaging, Display, Semiconductor) experience is preferred, +8 years is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of Sales or Technical Sales responsibility, +8 years is preferred
Self-motivated and focused with a passion for customer satisfaction.
Experiences of key account management is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Japanese skills with business level
Exceptional Presentation skills as well as an experienced presenter in group setting to both technical and business audiences.
Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to quickly and effectively build relationships, interact, and communicate information with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong work ethic and “Can do” attitude.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Critical thinking, hands-on attitude, and forward-looking orientation to drive for results
Willing to travel frequently
