Job summary Amazon seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead the APAC Large Customer Sales of Advertising finance team, based in Tokyo. This role acts as the CFO to provide financial leadership with Vice President of APAC Large Customer Sales team and his leadership team across China, Japan and Australia. This role requires an individual with exceptional business acumen and strategic thinking with a birds-eye view, while having strong attention to details. The successful candidate will also be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and has an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. S(he) will also have a proven record of excellent people management, and is an inclusive leader who leverages the strength of multi-cultural team. This will include partnering with cross-functional/regional/business-unit collaboration. This role is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon. Key job responsibilities • Serve as the CFO to business leaders across APAC LCS organization. Drive revenue growth and profitability improvements through deep financial analysis. • Work closely with global/regional finance teams (FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Finance Operations, Compensation Team) and provide solid financial guidance to business teams, and collaborate for the best financial outcomes in compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations. • Lead, manage and develop APAC LCS Finance team across China, Japan and Australia. Team consists of nine members including three finance leaders responsible for Sales partnership in each country, one responsible for APAC Account Management team, one responsible for APAC Yield (pricing), and APAC FP&A team of four led by Finance Manager managing one finance analyst and two Business Intelligence Engineers. Provide leadership and guidance with country finance leaders of China, Japan and Australia to ensure each marketplace with good understanding of the business and local situations. Provide leadership and guidance with the APAC FP&A team that delivers key business reviews and analyses including Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Finance Reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders to ensure we hit our targets. Develop succession planning and career development plans for APAC LCS finance team. • Partner with the Consumer team to drive actionable insights and growth.
