Position: CAD / Mechanical Design Writer - Engineering FRQ
Type: Contract
Compensation: $85/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Author original, free-response engineering problems grounded in real industry scenarios.
- Write complete expert-level solutions for each problem.
- Validate difficulty by running problems against three frontier language models until at least one fails.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality and downstream performance.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Design.
- 5+ years of hands-on professional/industry experience in production design roles.
- Experience owning designs through GD&T, tolerance stacks, DFM, and drawing release.
Preferred
- CSWP/CSWE certification.
- Experience with well-known/blue-chip employers.
