ZENETEX has become a major force in the field of aircraft maintenance. We proudly support all four branches of the military in performing Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level aircraft, ground vehicle, and component maintenance. We have an opportunity for an Aircraft Mechanic II (Propeller) to support our C-130 team at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.

The Aircraft Mechanic II will provide Organizational (O-Level) maintenance support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform Intermediate (I) Level Maintenance and Organizational (O) Level Maintenance work on C-130 engines, modules, assemblies, parts and accessories, quick engine change (QEC) kits, and C-130 propellers
  • Perform troubleshooting using special tools and test equipment.
  • Perform work in accordance with applicable publications, technical directives, instructions, standards, and procedures contained in pertinent manuals utilizing blueprints, drawings or schematics as provided
  • Shall replace condemned parts of the engine, propeller, module, or assemblies with serviceable parts
  • Shall clean, perform corrosion control actions, and inspect engine and propeller parts
  • Remove, clean, reinstall, or replace defective parts, accessories, and components such as worn gaskets, couplings, and fittings, bad actuators, accumulators, gauges, sections of corroded fuel and oil lines
  • Updates maintenance records and services engines and aircraft components at line station making repair required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years Power/-plant and Propeller systems experience on C-130 aircraft
  • Must have a craftsman level /(7/-Level USAF/) or equivalent i/.e/. Navy or Marine Corps CDQAR or A&P

Physical Demands

  • Work will require a high level of hand dexterity and finger use in both hands, close vision corrected/uncorrected to 20/20, prolonged periods of standing and sitting in combination with stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing, as well as ability to lift 25lbs and over with assistance.

Work Environment (ADA)

  • May be required to work in areas in the hangar and on the flight line that are noisy and dusty. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. May be required to wear personal protective equipment, when applicable.
  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Favorable government clearance.
