Your role as Airport Meet & Greet Supervisor
As part of our growth strategy to become a leading inbound travel company for western markets, we are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join Japan Experience in Tokyo as our Airport Meet & Greet Supervisor.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our Airport Meet & Greet operations, ensuring a smooth and high-quality welcome experience for our tour travelers from Europe and Americas, from the moment they arrive in Japan. You will manage and support our team of Airport Meet & Greet Assistants while coordinating operations between the sales team, suppliers, and airport staff.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Recruit, train, onboard, and manage a team of approximately 25 Airport Meet & Greet Assistants in Tokyo and Kansai, ensuring high performance and service quality.
Coordinate staffing and operations, including scheduling assistants, assigning services, and handling last-minute changes or operational issues.
Develop, maintain, and improve operational procedures, quality standards, and workflows to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Serve as the main point of contact for assistants and the sales team regarding Airport Meet & Greet operations, providing ongoing support and coaching.
Maintain accurate operational records, ensuring all Airport Meet & Greet information is up to date across company platforms, while managing assistants' timesheets and invoices.
Provide emergency operational coverage by personally conducting Airport Meet & Greet services at Narita or Haneda Airport when required.
Who are you?
Currently living in Tokyo or willing to relocate
Experience working in Japan's travel industry appreciated
Previous experience managing teams or coordinating operations appreciated
Proficient with digital tools and online platforms
Strong leadership and people management abilities
Excellent organizational and communication skills with your team, colleagues, suppliers, and travelers
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with an international team
Minimum language requirements:
English: Business level
Japanese: Business level
Proficiency in another language (German, Italian, or Spanish) appreciated
What do we offer
Full-time position
Monthly salary: ¥300,000 – ¥350,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday schedule
