Asset Management Private
We are currently looking for a member in our Real Estate Investment team.
The division invests in corporate, real estate and infrastructure assets worldwide and works to enhance the value of those assets before realizing them through sale. The work is deal-focused and exciting, and will bring you in contact with a wide range of businesses, industries, investment structures and products. The team operates on a global platform and our team works in a fast-paced, exciting environment. We look for individuals with versatile skills and a passion for investing.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing corporate real-estate investment opportunities
- Structuring, negotiating and documenting investments
- Building relationships with management teams and partners
- Monitoring and managing existing investments and portfolio companies
- Understanding complex financial modeling
- Undertaking significant due diligence responsibilities
- Participating in investment approval process
- Developing investment theses
- Reviewing and analyzing investment opportunities across a range of industry segments
Basic Qualifications
- At least 6 years of real-estate private equity and/or principal investment relevant experience with strong investing and exit track record
- Strong financial analysis/modeling experience
- Native level communication in Japanese
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience in deal sourcing
- Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses
- Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgment
- Investment acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English language
- Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people
- Detail oriented
