You'll be working at one of the world's biggest biotechnology companies, which is growing its business in Japan. As an Assistant Controller. You will collaborate with the APAC/HQ Treasury team to oversee local Cash initiatives, analyze pricing, assist the Commercial team in dealer management, manage costs, refine financial operations in Cytiva Japan, and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.

Description
* Collaborate with the APAC/HQ Treasury team to oversee local Cash initiatives tailored to the region, such as streamlining payment terms and enhancing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
* Assume responsibility for analyzing pricing and providing insights on variances. Engage with various departments to comprehend commercial patterns and aid in bridging gaps and resolving issues.
* Assist the Commercial team in strengthening relationships with dealers, offering strategic guidance on dealer management encompassing contracts and incentives.
* Scrutinize commercial agreements to ensure adherence to business protocols, including Delegation of Authority (DoA) and Commercial Contract Approval Process (CCAP).
* Take charge of cost management and analysis, contributing to overall business expansion while ensuring adherence to cost commitments.
* Collaborate with regional leadership to refine financial operations in Cytiva Japan and introduce industry best practices.
* Work closely with the regional Controllership team to enforce appropriate internal controls and comply with SOX requirements, covering aspects like taxation, customs duties, and transfer pricing.
Profile
* Good command in both English and Japanese.
* Experience in accounting
* Possess the capability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues.
* Open for future leadership responsibility
