Senior Backend *Go Lang* Engineer at Global AI Company
Company is growing rapidly in the AI space and is looking for a Sr. Backend Engineer to join it's team. Headquartered in the US, company has been experiencing much success in Japan and has adopted a international English-dominated work environment. Position is fully remote.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the product manager to explore potential features for customers
Develop a tangible development plan and oversee its execution
Aid team members in designing sustainable and maintainable software systems
Tasks:
Design, develop, and deliver a diverse array of search and recommendation functions and APIs
Proactively maintain and operate various search and recommendation functions
Collaborate with team members and other teams to investigate and enhance search and recommendation ranking metrics in the production system
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering (primarily backend) using Go
Knowledge and experience in managing infrastructure utilizing Docker, AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
Hands-on experience in designing reliable, high-performance web back-end systems
Familiarity with modern development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
Japanese not needed
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience with LLM and other machine learning technologies.
Proficiency in the analytical process including analysis, hypothesis formation, and testing
Experience in end-to-end test automation
