Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure properly recording cost of newly added fixed assets and Fixed Asset (FA) depreciation, as well as accounting for impairments/disposal.
  • Open Project Review of project completion and capitalization - analyze and monitor Asset under construction (AUC) account.
  • Prepare relevant adjustments related to Fixed Asset (FA) accounts ensuring timely and accurate recording of all Fixed Asset (FA) transactions.
  • Sign off the Tagetik Contract Detail Control for the submission to SAP (IFRS 16)
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial forms related to fixed assets during month end closing.
  • Prepare and submit Budget for Fixed Asset (FA) on SACP tool. Request information of future CAPEX, align deadlines and use SAC tool to estimate depreciation expenses and Depreciation & Amortization (D-A) addback.
  • Give high quality of support to fixed assets management.
  • Bank transactions analysis and ensure proper accounting, in collaboration with other Finance Operations areas.
  • Contribute to high level of financial compliance.
  • Support internal / External audits and ensure timely remediation of outstanding audit issues.

Qualifications

It is indispensable for this position:

  • Advanced student or graduate accountant or management bachelor (mandatory)
  • Working experience 2-3 years in accounting, experience in Fixed Asset/Banking (desirable)
  • Intermediate level of English (mandatory)
  • Experience with ERP (SAP highly valuable)
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge (mandatory)
  • Autonomy and focus in taking decisions
  • Results orientated
  • Reliable communicator and strong organizational skills
  • Learning agility, continuous improvement mindset
  • Intermediate Portuguese (desirable)
