The Opportunity
Flywheel Japan plans to drive exponential growth in the coming 2-3 years. We are looking for a BI Analyst to support that growth by optimising our clients' digital advertising strategies using Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC). The main duties involve providing strategic insights to enhance clients' advertising campaign performance through AMC data analysis and developing machine learning models to support data-driven decision-making. As a BI Analyst on the team, you are passionate about turning data into insight, and insight into recommended actions and strategies for our customers. You will work closely with our customer success teams, providing guidance on interpreting data within their analysis and building self-service tools that best leverage the data available. This individual will act as a subject matter expert on both the data and reporting available.

What You Will Do:
- Provide practical and accurate insights for a wide range of stakeholders, from analysts to executive levels, utilizing our platform and data.
- Use knowledge of business, analytics, and systems to improve analytical solutions and business proposals.
- Support the sales team in acquiring new business through data collection, analysis, and reporting using Amazon Marketing Cloud.
- Propose data-driven advertising strategies aligned with clients' business goals.
- Improve campaign performance through the development and optimization of machine learning models.
- Optimize data management processes, including cleansing, preprocessing, and integration.
- Provide clear insights and recommendations based on analysis results.

Who You Are:
- Working experience as a data analyst or business intelligence analyst, with a proven history of driving insights through data analysis and presenting findings.
- Expert skills in SQL and working with large datasets in a business environment. Adept at writing queries and report creation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, written and oral, with ability to turn data into compelling stories and insights, influencing both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail
- eCommerce and Media experience is an asset
- Experience with retailer marketing cloud and data clean room environments (preferred)
- Qualification or equivalent experience in data science, data engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management or Statistics
