Job Description:

Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity as a Business Analyst & Strategy Specialist you would take ownership of data for the GPQSS strategy implementation to ensure proper and consistent data quality, analysis of the data based on historical performance in various segments, platforms and delivery models, and perform added-value analysis on the implementation of GPQSS marketing & sales strategies. Also, to support the roll-out and implementation of the strategy and deployment of the GPQSS Sales & Marketing processes and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to maintain and update (in close collaboration with GPG functional, GCoCs and HBUs), the GPQSS strategic plan – breakdown per Hub Business Units, Operational Units, Platforms, Applications, Segments and Solutions.

  • Monitoring the current GPQSS OR and OR GM against previous years’ performance at the Operating Unit level to determine trends and the identification of potential growth areas or gaps. Also supporting the wider GPG functions in the roll-out of specific new initiatives or strategies

  • Analysis of all GPG main KPIs (per HBUs/OU segments and offerings) vs strategic plans, propose corrective measures and strategy adaptations where required. Ongoing management and development of the GPQSS Sales Cockpit

  • Provides analysis and comparison of data from all stakeholders (HBU, GCOC’s, GPG) to provide an in depth understanding and insights relevant to business decisions.

  • Extracts, monitors and analyses data from sales/financial tools to measure effectiveness of the current strategy, trends and major movements in our Key Segments and Solutions and provides feedback to management.

  • Focus areas would be the GPQSS Orders figures (Actual, Forecast and Backup), Solution category development & Gross Margin levels in line with the De-risking strategy, market growth and new segments/offerings.

  • Supports GPQSS Sales strategy implementation with focus on roll-out and monitoring of new Sales initiatives, transformation and de-risking activities, deployment of Sales strategy for New Applications, including communication and support to the local units to translate it into action plans and monitoring implementation progress. Drive the GCoC and HBU monthly Sales reporting process and consolidation towards the BU

  • Tracks data quality in our tools and supports Global Sales team to review accuracy and correct classifications, while harmonizing reporting and strategy implementation.

  • Implementation of regular Quality Controls in the Deployment and implementation of Marketing & Sales process including but not limited to the Gate Reviews, Where to Play Maps etc.

  • Drives sales efficiency by ensuring appropriate dissemination of Sales instructions, tools, know-how sharing and cross-collaboration via common processes.

Background:

  • Proven experience in similar sales operations roles

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • High proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, SharePoint etc

  • Strong communication, and organisational skills

  • Ability to build relationships via email, telephone & in person.

  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
