Job Description
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll play a vital role in driving Wix’s B2B success in Japan. You'll manage outbound lead flows, conduct high-level discovery conversations, and collaborate to develop strategies for customer engagement. In your day-to-day, you will
- Manage outbound lead flows, conduct high-level discovery conversations, and identify how to best serve our customer base
- Collaborate with Enterprise account executives and marketing teams to develop and qualify new target accounts, call strategies, and messaging
- Engage with potential customers by phone, email, and social media, onsite networking, documenting the process to identify the most efficient avenues
- Introduce and build scalable processes for future additions to the Enterprise team
- Utilize your expertise to develop and fine-tune methods to build relationships with customers and our team
This is a hybrid position. You will work from Wix Tokyo Office 2 to 3 times per week.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of BDR/SDR experience in B2B sales of intangible products/services
- Experience in B2B sales targeting major corporate clients
- Experience proposing SaaS or AI solutions
- Strong communication skills and confidence in self-management
- Resilience in a high-volume outbound environment, with the ability to learn from rejection and continuously refine your approach
- Native-level Japanese (mandatory), business-level English – an advantage
