Position Summary:
The incumbent will provide hands-on operational support to the APAC Regional President to drive regional business growth and execute key strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Support Business activities externally and internally for the RVP
- Organize management meetings with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners, including the preparation and execution of local distributor QBRs and MBRs.
- Liaise with Headquarters, Sales, and FAE teams to track progress and ensure timely completion of requested action items by Headquarters
- Proactively manage and execute initiatives to support the RVP’s operational and business requirements.
- Foster a unified APAC team culture by coordinating regular business syncs and in-person team-building events.
- Facilitate the RVP’s engagement with C-level and senior management stakeholders by cultivating strong relationships with executive assistants.
Localize and strengthen the Marcom activities in Japan to increase the awareness of Wolfspeed
- Drive marcom activities for local press releases, media conferences etc. in Japanese local language by selecting good local agencies, managing them, with the good alignment with Headquarters Marcom strategies.
- Build strong relation with the media in Japan.
Build Sales Infrastructure for APAC business except for Japan and Korea
- Manage communications with designated Japanese distributors to drive business development across APAC markets (excluding Japan and Korea).
- Track and follow up on action items and agreements to ensure alignment and progress with customers and distributors.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Channel Management, or Business Development within the APAC region, ideally in the tech/semiconductor/electronics industry.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Native-level Japanese and fluent business English are strictly required.
- Marketing Acumen: Proven experience in managing PR agencies and executing localized B2B marketing campaigns in Japan.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage C-level communications and build trust with executive assistants and key stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Strong project management skills with a track record of driving cross-functional follow-ups and managing QBR/MBR processes.
- Cultural Agility: Deep understanding of Japanese business culture and the broader APAC market dynamics.
