Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in financial/quantitative analysis.
- Ability to communicate in business-level Japanese and English fluently to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with SQL and analytical experience working with large volumes of complex data.
- Ability to craft and deliver a message to influence various stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate with others including senior leadership.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to identify the trends in data, build forecasts, and develop insights.
- Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets.
- Interest in Google Ads and other products like AI, etc.

Responsibilities
- Support Japan’s Business Finance operations such as business reporting, forecasting, target setting, analysis, and budget management.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations into drivers of business, market trends, risks, and opportunities leading to enhancing business and product actions.
- Engage in analyses to generate the insights and recommendations.
- Act as a liaison to connect central Finance teams and local teams.
