The role

We are looking for a Client Success Manager (CSM) with proven experience in customer success and/or business analysis, specifically within the Energy space. The candidate should ideally possess expertise in the SaaS industry, strong commercial awareness, excellent networking skills and ability to listen and understand customer needs.

The opportunity and responsibilities

You will get the opportunity to develop and execute product-driven and segment-focused client retention and growth strategies, as well as helping clients realize the full value of Rystad Energy’s databases and analytics to help them deliver on their business outcomes. You will also work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, market research and client training to drive engagement and expansion across your client remit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary post-sale point of contact to develop strong client advocates that enable the CSM to become a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Jointly define success criteria with clients by understanding their business challenges and implementing an engagement plan throughout the subscription period
  • Onboard new users and carry out follow-up training to achieve maximum adoption and usage growth rates
  • Partner with account managers to provide insights on client health with a focus on adoption, expansion opportunities and renewals
  • Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure client’s technical/analytical needs are resolved in a timely manner
  • Develop an understanding of Rystad Energy products and services and proactively help identify areas of improvement to increase market share and penetration.
  • Provide client feedback to internal teams including Product Managers and Client Solution
  • Participate in industry and networking events to grow the Rystad Energy brand
  • Maintain all client data and interaction records in the CRM system
  • Contribute to the wider vision and strategy of the Client Success team

Skills & Attributes for Success

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) years of experience in relevant sectors such as Energy, Finance, SaaS, or Consulting
  • Passionate about developing close relationships with our customers and enabling their long-term success
  • Proven knowledge of Energy markets is a key strength
  • Proven understanding of valuation models and economic analysis is highly desired
  • Experience or strong interest in client-facing roles, customer experience and business relationships
  • Experience working with databases, CRM platforms and Power BI is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently at times, be self-driven and resourceful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese & English. Fluency in Korean will be an advantage.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
