Job Overview
Davies North America is looking for a Sr. Business Unit Compliance Officer for Davies US. This role will directly support Integration of large newly acquired company, oversee and support operational compliance needs of local business units as well as support development and management of relevant Risk Registers and support Compliance & Risk initiatives across Davies’ North American entities. This position will support broader licensing and compliance initiatives, as needed. You will need to be an experienced Compliance professional with a background in operational and corporate compliance and risk management, as well as M&A and project management experience.
You will be tasked with addressing risk and compliance requirements for newly acquired entities as well as supporting the compliance and risk needs of integrated entities.
To be successful in this role, you need to show exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills, in order to ensure the successful alignment of diverse functional areas and be able to support both tactical and strategic business objectives of Davies Group in North America. You must have proven experience managing enterprise risk and compliance initiatives. You will need to have an analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Under certain circumstances, you may be required to travel domestically or internationally.
