Copilot Studio Engineer or AI Consultant

Appealing Points:

• Lead Enterprise AI Agent Transformation – Design and implement Copilot Studio environments, AI agents, and automation solutions that drive business process innovation and productivity.
• Shape AI Governance & Platform Strategy – Own Copilot billing models, security, compliance, data governance, and operational frameworks while establishing best practices for enterprise-wide AI adoption.
• Customer-Facing Solution Architecture Role – Work directly with client stakeholders to define requirements, design AI-powered solutions, integrate Microsoft 365 and external systems, and lead knowledge transfer for long-term success.

Annual salary: 6 million and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and build a dedicated managed environment for Copilot Studio (isolated from other Power Platform environments)
• Copilot Credits billing model design (starting from PAYG = pay-as-you-go, after consumption stabilizes, creating a transition plan to Pre-purchase Pack)
• Linking with Azure subscription and billing policy settings
• Organize billing model in combination with M365 / Dynamics 365 license (avoid compliance risks)
• Implementation of bidirectional calls between AI agent and Power Automate flow (Agent → Flow, Flow → Agent)
• Requirements organization and connection design for connected data sources (M365, Box), extensibility design with an eye to future expansion
• Establishment of role organization guidelines for Copilot Cowork (Frontier Program) and Copilot Studio agents
• Establishment of authority rules for makers (creators) and end users, public review process, naming conventions, knowledge management, and confidential data handling rules.
• Agent implementation for typical use cases (application processing, data transcription, routine inquiry automation, etc.)
• Prompt engineering and tuning to improve answer accuracy
• Document preparation and technology transfer with a view to handing over to the customer's internal operations
• Negotiation with customer (Customer’s Photonics IT department) regarding requirements definition and design review

Job Qualification:

• Hands-on experience designing and building Copilot Studio or its predecessor Power Virtual Agents (1+ years or equivalent experience implementing Microsoft AI products)
• 3+ years of advanced Power Automate implementation experience (Cloud Flow, custom connectors, HTTP/API triggers, error handling)
• Experience implementing AI agent/chatbot designs (Microsoft Bot Framework, Azure Bot Service, or equivalent)
• Basic understanding of Power Platform managed environments
• Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD) management experience
• Experience in designing and implementing cooperation with M365 services (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Graph API)
• Understand the Copilot Credits billing model or equivalent pay-as-you-go Microsoft/Azure cloud services
• Generative AI prompt engineering experience
• Experience in formulating AI usage guidelines from security and privacy perspectives

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in supporting AI/automation implementation for customers in the manufacturing industry (especially optical and electronic equipment manufacturers)
• Experience implementing API integration with Box and external SaaS
• Microsoft Certification: MB-820 (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate), PL-7001, or equivalent
• Azure OpenAI Service knowledge and implementation experience
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture design and implementation experience
• Understanding Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Cowork, and Frontier Program
• Holds Microsoft certification: PL-200 (Functional Consultant) or PL-400 (Developer)
• English communication skills (with collaboration with Cognizant global team)
• Internal user enlightenment (training) experience in no-code/low-code development
• Knowledge of AI governance and Responsible AI frameworks

Language Skills: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1) and Business level English
