Develops and executes Oracle's GPU and AI Cloud business development strategy across Japan, driving the adoption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for AI and high-performance computing workloads. This role is responsible for identifying strategic market opportunities, building executive relationships, and expanding Oracle's AI ecosystem through collaboration with enterprise customers, cloud partners, startups, government organizations, and industry leaders. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and JAPAC leadership, the successful candidate will influence long-term business strategy, accelerate market growth, and position Oracle as the preferred cloud platform for AI innovation.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to shape Oracle's AI and GPU strategy within one of the company's most strategic growth markets.
Lead country-level business development initiatives to accelerate Oracle's GPU and AI Cloud business in Japan. Develop and execute market strategies that drive OCI GPU adoption and AI infrastructure growth. Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, strategic customers, partners, government organizations, and industry stakeholders. Identify new market opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and influence long-term business strategy. Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and JAPAC leadership to execute country priorities. Act as Oracle's market leader for GPU and AI initiatives in Japan, driving ecosystem development, executive engagement, and strategic business growth beyond individual sales opportunities.
- Extensive experience in Business Development, Market Development, or Cloud Strategy within enterprise technology.
- Strong understanding of AI infrastructure, GPU computing, Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS), and the AI ecosystem.
- Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence C-level customers and senior internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience developing strategic partnerships and expanding technology ecosystems.
- Experience shaping market strategy and driving business growth across Japan.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in Japanese and English.
- Experience working across regional or global organizations is highly desirable.
