We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Operations Technical Delivery Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the technical delivery aspects of multiple cloud operations initiatives, ensuring the successful deployment, management, and optimization of cloud-based systems and services. As a key member of the operations team,
- Looking for Cloud Operations Technical Delivery Lead with 10 to 15 years’ experience in Cloud Domain
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.
- The Cloud Operations Technical Delivery Lead will also play a crucial role in driving innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement within the cloud operations domain.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of cloud operations projects, from planning and design through implementation and optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish technical specifications for cloud-based systems and services.
- Oversee incident and problem management, ensuring minimal impact on service deliverables and prompt resolution.
- Coordinate technical professionals in charge of root cause analysis, providing preventive measures and long-term solutions.
- Lead the Cloud Operations team for industry standard certifications in Managed cloud operations such as MSP, AWS Managed Service etc.
- Champion the culture of continuous service improvement and service excellence by adopting industry best practices like ITIL, DevOps, & Lean
- Coordinate the entire lifecycle of cloud services from design, implementation, to end of life, collaborating with architects, security teams, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the delivery and performance of cloud services, ensuring SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Provide guidance and expertise to the operations team, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the deployment and configuration of cloud resources, including compute, storage, networking, and security components, using automation and orchestration tools.
- Oversee the monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of cloud environments to maintain optimal system health, availability, and performance.
- Implement robust security controls and compliance measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance within cloud environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automate deployment workflows for cloud-based applications and services.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the cloud operations domain, exploring new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a point of escalation for cloud-related technical issues, providing expert advice and steering for informed decision-making.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, nurturing a culture of learning, collaboration, and excellence within the cloud operations team.
Skills and attributes for success
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Proven experience in technical leadership roles, with a focus on cloud operations, infrastructure, and architecture. Experience in managing technical teams in complex cloud environments, including multi-cloud infrastructures spanning in multizone environment.
- Experience in leading 3 to 5 managed service engagements in Cloud Platform / Application solutions
- Experience in delivering Cloud operations engagement align with industry standard Cloud frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of ITSM best practices with several years of experience in technical service delivery
- Experience in leading or worked as team member to achieve Managed services certifications such as MSP or AWS MS etc
- Proficiency in using scripting languages (Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automating cloud service deployments.
- Understanding about cloud automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, BICEP, Ansible, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (like Kubernetes or Docker), microservices architecture, and serverless computing.
- Technical expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders confidently.
- Certifications in Industry governance standards like ITIL, TOGAF etc.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect are a plus.
- Proficiency and expertise in delivering operations in Data platform is a must.
To qualify for the role, you must have.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, Computer Science etc.
- Relevant certifications in Cloud and Infrastructure Landscape. This enhances a candidate's qualifications and demonstrate their expertise in cloud operations and architecture.
