Multiple positions with international/Japanese Development & IPP companies with established businesses and strong Solar & BESS development pipelines in Japan. These companies have a mix of Japanese and international investment and have had significant success in Japan and in the region having developed numerous projects across various technologies such as Solar, BESS, Wind, Biomass and others. They are multicultural, modern, successful and hiring due to continued growth.

Your new role - あなたの新しい役割

These positions range from junior to senior and will work with development teams to originate, acquire, develop and manage high voltage and extra high voltage renewable energy projects including utility scale solar and battery storage (BESS) projects. You will assist with site sourcing, project & land acquisition, assessing projects, negotiating with landowners & stakeholders and submitting permits.

The positions are as per below:

Origination and Development Associate (JLPT N2 and above)
Origination and Development Manager (English not mandatory)
Development Specialist
Sourcing Manager Land Acquisition
Development Supervisor
Land Sourcing Specialist

Who you are - あなたは誰ですか

1 – 15 years’ experience with early phase Development for Renewable Energy projects including utility scale Solar, Wind and/or Battery storage. You have familiarity with site sourcing & assessment, land acquisition, negotiating with landowners and permitting processes. Similar experience from other industries such as, traditional Energy, Oil & Gas or Electrical Infrastructure also considered.

You will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage the various stakeholder relationships involved.

Professional working proficiency in Japanese and English
