Must Have: GCP & Very Good Communication. DevOps candidate that has Terraform, GCP, Hashicorp Vault.
Experience: Mid Senior Level- Senior Level Both candidates will work.
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in a fully remote role based in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. This position requires expertise in Terraform, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and HashiCorp Vault.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform for cloud deployments.
- Create automation scripts using Bash or Python for efficient orchestration of tasks.
- Support stateless applications in a production environment.
- Administer Linux systems, focusing on systemd.
- Implement containerization technologies like Docker for application deployment.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential.
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes preferred).
- Knowledge of logging, metrics, and monitoring tools (ELK, DataDog, Prometheus).
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secret management solutions.
- Understanding of security standards and best practices (NIST 800-207, Zero Trust).
Nice to Have:
- Additional programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Node.js, or Golang.
- Exposure to Terraform Cloud or advanced Terraform features.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Note: This is a 100% remote role based in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. Candidates must have US Citizenship (USC) or Green Card (GC) status.
