Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance E3D add-on tools and applications.
- Analyze engineering user requirements and convert them into practical technical solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy application enhancements using PML, PML2, C# (.NET), VB.NET, and SQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to E3D applications, CAD operations, interfaces, and application behavior.
- Provide application maintenance, production support, and issue resolution for engineering applications.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to implement improvements and automation solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, test evidence, user guides, and support materials.
- Participate in technical discussions, project meetings, and solution reviews as required.
Job Qualification:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in E3D application development, support, and customization.
- Experience in 1 to 2 engineering design or E3D-related projects.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, EPC, or industrial domains is preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on development experience in PML and PML2.
- Strong programming experience in C# (.NET) and VB.NET.
- SQL development experience for data handling, queries, and application support.
- Experience in application maintenance, enhancement, testing, and production support.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and basic quality assurance practices.
- Experience supporting AVEVA E3D customization, automation, or add-on tool development is preferred.
- Functional Skills:
- Hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D or similar plant design CAD systems.
- Good understanding of CAD operation, engineering design workflow, and plant design processes.
- Ability to support engineering users and translate operational needs into system enhancements.
- Experience in plant engineering, EPC, manufacturing, or industrial project environments is preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate progress clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural and global delivery environments.
Required languages:
- Business-level English communication is mandatory.
- Japanese language capability is preferred but not mandatory.
