Position summary
The EDS - Analytics and Insights function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY’s ambition to create long-term value as the world’s most trusted, distinctive professional services organization. We work hand in hand with the business to take services and solutions to market; bring our purpose, building a better working world, to life for our people, clients and communities; engage our people and build a high performing culture; and to build the commercial value and emotional resonance of the EY brand.

The role is responsible for building digital performance dashboards and creating monthly, cross-channel performance reports. In addition, the Data Visualisation Expert is part of the agile analytics roadmap management processes to help define future dashboards through wireframing. This requires an element of user experience design and thinking. Output can be through static resources (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel) or through more advanced technologies like Power Bi.

This includes:

  • An understanding of the marketing technologies and their data and reporting capabilities
  • Build of wireframes to present dashboards and reports in the best possible way to various different types of stakeholders
  • Support managing standardization of BMC’s analytics reporting and dashboard capabilities
  • Manage Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing the end-products and underlying data use (correctness and completeness)
  • Working hand-in-hand with the technical teams implementing databases and data integrations


Roles, Responsibilities and Skillset required

  • Lead and support the strategy, development and evolution of the analytics team (BMC).
  • Design and implement measurement strategies to translate business goals to KPI’s
  • Adobe Analytics end-to-end implementation using Adobe Data collections (Adobe Launch) tag manager
  • Gather Business requirements for EY.com (DFF/Unified Platform) based on the AEM user stories.
  • Custom Analytics tracking requirements for AEM components
  • Configuration of Analytics variables(eVars/Props/events) to enable data tracking on the site.(ey.com/Unified platform)
  • Partner with teams to set sound and scalable standards for tagging specifications and implementation approaches
  • Build/Configure Analytics using Adobe data collections.
  • Perform validation end-to-end in Dev/QA/UAT environments
  • Prepare required documentation related to tracking enhancements based on the release cycles
  • Set-up reports to effectively monitor performance, trends, key metrics for global/regional stake holders

BMC Internal Application (Intranet/DAM):

  • Regular connection with Product Managers to understand key business requirements
  • Design/customize and develop analytics solutions for internal applications.
  • Provide technical specification document to the external vendors for implementing digital data layer.
  • Support tech teams in development and fixing issues related to analytics tracking
  • Conduct user group sessions to discuss on the new tracking enhancements
  • Conduct bi-weekly Product Group meeting with global/regional stakeholders

Adobe Analytics Support (ZenDesk/ Service Now)

  • Provide support to global/regional analytics product user groups.
  • Support Measurement and Insights team on the data/tracking/reporting queries.
  • Plan/set-up data extraction using Adobe Datawarehouse/Report builder/Activity Map
  • Manage User/User Groups/Product Profiles on Adobe Admin Console
  • New BMC Application On-Boarding end-to-end

Platform Integration (Demandbase/D&B/OneTrust/AdobeIO/CrownPeak):

  • Manage external tools integration using Adobe platform
  • Support API integration using Adobe IO platform

Marketing Pixels (GoogleTag/FB/Linkedin/Bing/Verizon)

  • Gather requirements from key global/regional stakeholders for implementing marketing tags/pixels
  • Plan and perform end-to-end pixel validations and enable tracking on production
  • Ad-hoc data gap analysis of pixels tracking on ey.com
  • Support new tags/pixels on boarding for BMC by working with global GCO
  • Provide Analytics training to external agencies (before providing access to reports/data)

Audience Data Platform (Adobe Experience Platform):

  • Support technology team in building data dictionary for Audience data platform
  • DULE label classification of the data source/data fields
  • Support in adobe analytics data related queries for Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
