WHAT YOU'LL DO
As Expansion Controller, you set and implement controlling routines, ensure accurate and transparent financial follow-up, and enable profitable and sustainable expansion by providing reliable insights to the Sales Market.
- Set and implement controlling routines and strategies in the Sales Market, translating regional strategies into clear goals and targets for the local market
- Own the local budget and forecasting process for Leasing and C&F, securing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for Capex and Opex
- Take ownership of all relevant market data — monitoring sales, surplus, operational costs, and Capex spend — analyzing trends and drawing conclusions on improvements
- Analyze and secure that rents and data are accurate in systems and tools together with Lease Admin, and support training of Leasing and C&F colleagues in KPI analysis
- Drive Expansion Audit preparation and follow-up work for the Sales Market, ensuring financial transparency and that each team member understands responsibilities and approval rights
- Collaborate closely with Expansion Controlling, Sales Market Leasing, and C&F functions, securing strong invoice routines together with Accounting and Lease Admin
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll work closely with Expansion team, partnering with Lease Manager, Lease Administrator, Accounting, and the Sales Market C&F Manager on budgets, forecasts, and business case preparation.
This role will be reporting to the Expansion Manager.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people who…
- Have a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced level of English both written and spoken
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or controlling, preferably within the retail industry
- Have strong understanding of accounting, financial analysis, and controlling processes, with proven experience preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management
- Are proficient in MS Office with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
