Coho Integrated Solutions is seeking a U.S. Licensed Registered Nurse to serve as the Family Advocacy Nurse (FAN) to support the Department of the Air Force Family Advocacy Program at Kadena AB, Japan. The FAN provides comprehensive home-based prevention services to eligible military families who are expecting a child or have a child under four years of age, with an emphasis on preventing child and partner maltreatment.
The FAN serves as a member of the multidisciplinary FAP team and provides nursing expertise, case management, home visitation, education, anticipatory guidance, prevention services, and family support.
This position does not provide hands-on clinical nursing care for acute or chronic medical conditions, including apnea monitor oversight or tube feedings. The FAN also does not perform special-needs identification and assignment coordination or psychotherapy.
