Job Description

Fashion PR Supporter is responsible for supporting Fashion PR and communication to increase the brand and fashion perception.

This position works alongside the local Showroom and PR Manager for maintaining relationships with key media, Influencers, Celebrities and opinion leaders together.

Fashion PR and Media contracts

Be brand ambassador
Initiate good working relationships with editors and stylists
Gain coverage and product placement with key titles
Initiate appointments and ongoing contacts with journalists/stylists
Keep up to date with the latest trends and keep an eye on the competitors on the local market
Overall responsible for fashion press releases and content, incl. proof reading and translations
Be involved in all showroom events (open house, press previews, designer collaborations)

Media Relations/ Internal communications

Support to maintain and develop a knowledge of the local media landscape including good relations with most important media.
Support for communicating H&M messages externally and internally, together with HO and PR manager
Manage the local edition of H&Ms’ internal communication channels, including publish global and regional content, create local news and distribute H&M news
Work closely with copywriter to ensure translations of internal communications material.
Supports with internal communications guidance in Sales Market specific topics.

Qualifications

Good English proficiency - Business conversation
Having a good understanding or interests in PR
Can do mindset

Work permission in Japan is required.
