Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Intermediate level professional position requiring subject matter knowledge in JP GAAP, US GAAP and Kobe/Japan regulatory tax environment and experience, more independence in problem solving and decision making.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the preparation and analysis of accurate financial statements and disclosures based on actual results. 
• Responsible for preparation, consolidation and analyses of statutory financial statements for the legal entity based in Kobe, Japan in accordance to the local reporting regulations. 
• Responsible for driving the completion of KPMG and other audits for the legal entity. 
• Developed basic commercial awareness; may allocate and be responsible for the quality of work in others; act as advisor and coach to operational and commercial teams; developed interpersonal skills to handle complex situations. Focus on team & department priorities within operating unit and may be responsible for work and development of others. Responsible to interact with tax authorities, external and internal auditors and external consultants where applicable.
