Job Description

Develop websites and applications with Velo
Build projects for big and small companies
Bring features to production
Integrate a broad range of 3rd-party services into our platform
Enable our clients' business models to seamlessly work online
Find new creative ways to use our platform
Give feedback on the tools that we use and affect the development of the product
Provide community feedback to our Product team to make sure the roadmap reflects our Velo developer’s needs
Share product knowledge for a vast set of audiences, from current Wix Users to Web Developers, in the form of conferences talks and workshops, webinars, meetups, blogs, and tutorials
Be an active learner on our platform, trying out new features and building projects to gain empathy for our developer ecosystem
Develop and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions, and discussions to help drive awareness and adoption of Velo
Engage with developers from our top web development agencies and align with Account Managers
Be a developer advocate to gain recognition and credibility as a regulator attendee, panelist, and speaker at web/technology conferences and events

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a JavaScript developer from a tech company. You have a good understanding of client-server architecture, and you’re knowledgeable about IT environments, tools, standards, and computer science approaches
Fluent in Japanese with exceptional verbal/written communication skills
You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity
You must have exceptional project management and organizational skills that allow you to manage your book of business and juggle multiple projects.
