Job Responsibilities:

• Develop a project work plan and modify it accordingly according to the needs and requirements to be changed
• Lead complex projects that require a deep understanding of Java, Azure, and cloud-native applications
• Excellent work experience in relevant fields and ability to visualize solutions and potential problems
• Deliver quality deliverables through communication with stakeholders, business, and development teams
• Experience managing effective software development methods and tools
• Experience managing internal and external development/delivery teams, on-site and offshore
• Experience in delivering multi-channel customer experience initiatives on PaaS platforms
• Willingness and ability to engage in all phases and levels of the delivery process
• Familiarity with utilizing agile methodologies for development and delivery
• Cross-functional problem-solving ability in fast, rapidly changing work environments
• Identify the resources you need and assign individual responsibilities
• Review the deliverables prepared by the team before passing them on to other teams
• Prepare engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
• Identify and manage project risks and issues

Job Qualification:

• Bilingual with strong communication skills to interact with all stakeholders involved. Native-level Japanese and business-level Japanese
• At least 5 years of experience in project management and application development
• At least 5 years of experience managing Java and microservices projects
• Excellent customer response and communication skills
• EstablishedExperience working within the PMO process
• Experience managing 3rd party implementation vendors
• Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and enterprise application integration, with a very strong Service Oriented Architecture background
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about problems
• Experience in designing and developing highly scalable APIs and services used in web and mobile clients
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with cloud services such as Azure
• Strong understanding of UX/UI, microservices, Spring Boot, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, etc.
• Experience and understanding of agile project methodologies
• Experience with onshore and offshore development teams and vendor management

Preferred Qualification:

• Past experience in Life Insurance domain.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field Language

Language Skills: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1) and Fluent level English
