About the role:

As an Accountant, your finger will be on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Collaborating with a diverse team, you will be responsible for recording general ledger journal entries, supporting account payable, consumption tax, and office fixed asset process and conducting account reconciliation, and various analyses of financial statements.　About the team:
Global team who are located in Japan, India, U.S. U.K. and Singapore, etc.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for all-around financial accounting tasks. Monthly, yearly closings, and AP will be the main responsibilities with support regarding tax.
• Use financial data to prepare and record general ledger journal entries.
• Prepare cash and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial statements and provide concise explanations for variances.
• Research period over period variances in revenue, cost of sales and expense and provide logical explanations for fluctuations.
• Assist internal clients by providing information required to file tax returns, prepare Bank, AP, consumption tax, office fixed asset documentation, support employee's expense report and any other required information pertaining to the entity.

What you will need:

• Minimum 4 years in the Financial Accounting
• Fluent in Japanese language to deal with Japanese speaking customers and Business level English to deal with English speaking stakeholders
• Cooperative and proactive personality
• Japanese bookkeeping level 2 required.
• TOEIC 800+ required.
