Generator Maintenance Engineer

The position supports the electrical aspects for generators at a biomass plant.
The position is required to perform complex electrical engineering assignments with considerable latitude for action and administrating.

Description
* Perform routine maintenance on generator sets, including oil changes, filter replacements, and coolant level checks to ensure optimal performance.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical issues within generator systems, such as failures in starting, operating inefficiencies, or unexpected shutdowns.
* Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
* Install new generator sets and electrical components, following engineering specifications and adhering to local, state, and national electrical codes.
* Calibrate and adjust generator control panels and equipment to ensure that the generators operate within specified parameters.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on power and control systems required
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical power and control systems
* Bilingual language capability (Japanese and English)
* (Preferred) AVR experience
* (Nice to have) Biomass experience
