As a solution center associate within our Payments business, you will be expected to build strong relationships with clients and prospects across multiple levels including CFO, treasurer, legal, and/or investor relations, and serve as the primary contact for existing clients on the day-to-day basis. You will be a specialist across Tokyo and Singapore who deal with the day-to-day client inquiries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take accountability for KPIs of the team which are primarily client experience focus
  • Manage group/departmental risk. Monitor operations and personnel to assure compliance with all regulatory, and internal policies and procedures and determined by the Compliance and Risk teams
  • Liaise with support functions and other business units to ensure the customer receives satisfactory responses in a timely manner
  • Adhere to risk and control guidelines to ensure business processes and staff is compliant to global policies and procedures
  • Ensure Policy & Procedures are up to date and business guidelines are adhered to and are audit ready
  • Improve quality of work, create efficiency and/or improve client experience

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong verbal and written to staff within the organization and clients both in English and Japanese
  • Outstanding process and analytical skills; ability to work in a complex environment and the ability to think strategically and tactically
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with ability to effectively solve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships
  • Willing to challenge the status quo to promote better outcomes for our clients
  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience and/or transaction banking with emphasis on people, service, and performance

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Mentor the frontline employees
  • Contribute in or lead global projects which will have an enquiry reduction/risk mitigation impact for the business
  • Executive presence and strong Japanese and English language and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with automation tools e.g. Robotics , Alteryx
