The team
The role will be based in Tokyo. You will be part of the Group Tax Team and report to the APAC Regional Head of Tax. You will supervise a team member.
We are a team of highly trained tax subject matter experts that deliver against all the tax needs of the business divisions and group functions. As tax legislation is constantly changing, we stay at the forefront of those developments to ensure we provide appropriate tax guidance that takes account of those developments and responsible for a sustainable control environment.
Your skills and experience
You have
• qualified accountant / legal qualification with a university degree
• minimum 10 years experience post qualification
• knowledge of financial services gained at a blue chip financial services organization and / or through training with one of the Big Four accountancy firms or law firms.
• strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• experience managing tax and regulatory change initiatives, including the use of AI and technology solutions to improve processes, strengthen controls and support implementation across the business
