Department Overview

The Group Human Resources Supervisory Department, which is part of Rakuten Group, Inc.’s corporate headquarters, is working on human resources reforms to strengthen the Rakuten Group’s organizational capabilities.
In order to solve various management issues that arise in the midst of diversification and expansion of human resources and businesses, you will be working in the Group HR which is in charge of the planning and introduction of the working environment, systems and frameworks, and overall labor management.

Position Details

You will be assigned one of the following tasks based on your skills and experience.
- Operating of Health consultation services for employees and management of company doctor interview
- Handling of leave of absence and reinstatement
- Planning and operation of Annual Health Checkup, Influenza vaccinations, and Stress check
- Managing of the Health committee
- Responding to inquiries about occupational accidents
- Planning and management of infectious disease countermeasures
- Planning and implementation of mental Health care education for employees
*We may ask you to participate in PJT within your team and in PJT conducted by other departments beyond your team, as well as in project management.

- Team Size: Health Promotion Team: 15 members (excluding the industrial physician)
- Age Range: Primarily in their 30s
- New Graduate to Mid-Career Hire Ratio: 0:10

- Experience in occupational health work

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Experience in HR operations at a business company
- At least 1 year of experience in labor relations (e.g., handling employees on leave)
- Basic knowledge of labor-related laws and regulations
- Experience in occupational health work
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to advance tasks
- Ability to cope in fast-changing environments and ambiguous situations

Desired Qualifications:

Ideal candidate profile
- A person who can think from the standpoint of both employees and the company
- A person who is able to put himself/herself in the other person's shoes and communicate in a balanced manner
- Experience in collaborating with industrial physicians and public health nurses
- Possession of a Health Supervisor license
