As a Indirect Regional Supplier Manager, you will be the primary category point of contact for supplier interactions, performance management, and negotiations for the site.
In this role, you will work with partners to build comprehensive view of supplier performance for continued sourcing success.
You will participate and/or lead in the development and implementation of category strategies and projects related but not limited to cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, and pricing/contract negotiation.

As a Indirect Regional ry Supplier Manager, you will be responsible for developing a category strategy for managed categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and the respective internal partners and collaborators. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, plan and complete negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building trusted partnerships with internal partners, driving best in class, cost, supply and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Category Management & Strategic Sourcing

* Recommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects and functions

* Implement processes to monitor partner satisfaction with key suppliers

* Recommend targets to improve value such as high revenue, spend reduction, purchasing efficiency, customer services and supplier management

* Analyze sourcing trends and make recommendations for assigned categories

* Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting

Cost Management & Analysis

* Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers

* Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets

* Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal partners

* Use should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace

Negotiation

* Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc

* Lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation

* Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into negotiations

* Develop a contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and build, negotiate, monitor and enforce contracted terms and conditions

Business Partnering

* Collaborate to Deliver Strategic Solutions

* Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with key partners

* Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement

You are:

* Well-versed in supplier & partner engagement,

* Experienced in a category management role, preferably in a semiconductor or tech industry

* Demonstrate experience in strategic sourcing

* Strong in negotiation and communication skills

Qualifications & Skills:

* Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, or Semiconductor industry

* Bachelor or degree or equivalent experience in relevant field

* Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills, both English and Japanese
