< Site ICS Engineer >
Manage IS operations on the shopfloor on a day to day basis, including the following actions :
Responsible for monitoring and reviewing the ICS assets on the shop floor (Inventory, procurement, licence renewal, disposal), and ensuring that IS contractual aspects are taken into account, such as maintenance and licences.
Ensure compliance with Cybersecurity rules, in cooperation with the Site Cybersecurity Officer.
Control/retrofit ICS solutions, in terms of availability, practices, Cybersecurity, based on the ICS standards
Manage escalation of open issues and related tickets to Regional SSC or Center of Excellence.
Train and guide key users, general users and maintenance teams, about ICS standards and operations.
Support Industrial team to maintain the operation of Standalone PCs, equipment and devices when they are facing issues.
Coordinate ICS needs with VALEO teams and external IS / IT Vendors in the different steps of development:
Design :
Contribute to IS/IT aspects, for the design of new production lines and systems in collaboration with the Engineering team.
Support the Engineering team & suppliers to meet the IS/IT standard requirements.
Coordinate Industrial IS/IT Vendors as needed.
Coordinate the cost calculations with the purchasing team for necessary IT investments. Manage VALEO mandatory processes for new acquisitions, e.g: NACR, 3PSA.
Support the Engineering team to follow IS/IT best practice guidance for shop floor activities.
Support the stakeholders on IT developments after receipt of the specifications from the Engineering team department.
Implementation :
Ensure that documentation such as working instructions, upgrade procedures and package deployment are available at site level.
Responsible for the installation of Industrial IT on the shop floor (including Industrial PCs, MES).
Support Engineering team for the installation of other supplier software.
Testing / Support :
Support the Engineering team in integration testing of the implemented solutions,and help them to perform functional tests of new designs.
Support Post Go-Live.
Ensure IS processes and policies are applied at site level, as per Valeo ICS standards .
In coordination with Engineering & Maintenance teams and/or the central team, you will :
Attend regular meetings with site stakeholders to understand priority issues in the site, and participate in the suggestion / realisation of improvement proposals.
Support existing IS/IT standards and work with the teams to fix the gap between site real situation and ICS standards. (e.g.: Backup / Disaster Recovery Plan, Monitoring etc… )
Share responsibility of the Valeo ICS yearly audit & improvements with other stakeholders.
Identify emerging Industrial Control Systems needs on your site, such as key management, encryption and blockchain.
< Site IS - IT Support >
You will work together with the ITC team in Japan to maintain IT devices such as servers, Network switches and Wi-Fi access points at the sites. The maintenance and replacement of IT devices will be led by the ITC and external vendors, and you will support them. As the Site IS member, you will coordinate between ITC and business users for requirement checks, replacement plan and issue follow up at the sites as needed. (You will not be required to configure IT devices. It will be done by the ITC)
You will support managing IT devices such as servers, Network switches, Wi-Fi access points, IP phones, and printers at the sites. You will be required to support at the Site IS level. There are respective teams such as the ITC and IT Support Desk for each device, which will lead an investigation and fixing when we face issues.
