IT Infrastructure Engineer / Manager (Server + Network)

With a rapidly expanding footprint, the organization continues to invest in infrastructure and real estate to support new site development and expansion initiatives.
The Infrastructure Engineer / Manager role represents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team during a period of significant growth and transformation.
Role Overview
Reporting to the IT Architecture Manager, this role is responsible for the design, deployment, and support of business-critical IT infrastructure across the region. Supporting 3 locations i.e., Inzai, Shin Kawasaki, and Shiohama.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day support for physical and virtual server infrastructure (configuration, patching, troubleshooting).
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for IT infrastructure
- Lead infrastructure projects and BAU activities
- Act as a regional escalation point and subject matter expert
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes
- Contribute to infrastructure design and implementation
- Manage vendors and third-party service providers
- Maintain technical documentation and standards
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies
Skills & Experience
- Business Level Japanese language skills (professional level verbal communications as the minimum requirement)
- Experience managing Windows infrastructure (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS)
- Microsoft 365 / Azure AD administration knoweldge
- Networking knowledge and hands-on experience (L2/L3 switching, firewalls, wireless)
- Experience managing VMware vSphere / ESX environment
- Scripting and automation (PowerShell, VBScript)
- Strong understanding and implementation of IT security best practice
- Vendor management and IT project management experience will add value.
