What You Will Do
The position is responsible for:
• The Invoice to Cash Analyst is responsible for the Collection, Credit, Accounts Receivables and Reporting. This role is essential for the day-to-day operations of the Japan market.
Key Responsibilities
AR Collection Management:
• Perform AR collection tasks including:
- SOA preparation
- Collection of customer payment detail documents, Tracking and solving the payment term discrepancies
- Deposit management (balance and interest, risk review),
- Banking information management,
- New payment term setting
- Confirmation letter issuance
• Obtaining and preparing the required payment remittance advice detailed documents for Cash App team.
• Reconciliation of customer payment received amount and payment advice amount.
• Handling of the payment disputes and discrepancies
Credit Management:
• Support on credit releasing items
• Support the credit assessment for new customers
• Payment terms optimization, market research and benchmark.
• Annual Credit review support
Other AR related Work:
• Deal with the external and internal audit request
• AR review and other ad hoc Local support
Financial Reporting:
• Cashflow forecast
• Preparation of AR related reports and analysis such as AR aging report, DSO report, Bad debt provision report etc.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
• University degrees in business or finance.
• Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in AR, Finance, Collection and Credit Management.
• Fluent in Japanese and English.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to maintain the good relationship with the stakeholders in Japan and globally.
• Ability to work individually and in a team-oriented environment.
• A can-do attitude and ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under high pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Tableau, PowerBI, High Radius is not compulsory but a big plus.
Desired Qualifications
• Professional designations such as CPA, CMA, Nissho Booking 2nd Grade or working towards the designation would be an advantage but not required.
• ERP and other system knowledge (SAP, Concur, Workday and Blackline...etc.) and experience for AR and Credit Management Module of ERP system.
• Prior experience in consumer health related industry would be an advantage.
