MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Top level technical expert supporting multiple end user groups.

Work with user groups to identify and solve business problems with all available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals.

Requires broad and deep technical experience related to studying and analyzing systems needs, systems development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering.

The Specialist level will have highly developed skills and experience in business management, systems engineering, operations research, and management engineering.

Typically requires specialization in multiple software or business applications utilized in an end user environment.

Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications and uses that information to proactively initiate enhancements to mitigate against future problems.

Will often coach or mentor less senior support professionals.
