Responsibilities:
• Manage the implementation of automation technologies to streamline creating and updating mandatory materials.
• Drive comprehensive assessments of available automation technologies tailored to pharmaceutical documentation.
• Prioritize vendors with experience in similar automation projects and technical expertise.
• Develop clear implementation plans, delineating scope, timeline, and resource requirements for testing the automation solution.
• Oversee the successful piloting of the automation solution and monitor performance closely.
• Utilize advanced language models to automate the creation of FAQs from scientific articles.
• Train language models using existing FAQs and scientific literature from databases.
• Implement systems for automatic generation and review of FAQs, reducing manual effort.
• Develop algorithms to extract insights and summaries from detailed call notes captured by the Medical Science Liaison team.
• Utilize data science techniques to analyze verbatim discussions and identify critical signals and trends.
• Collaborate with team members to translate the medical voice of customer captured by MSL into meaningful insight, which will be incorporated into our medical strategy.
• Continuously refine and enhance data science models based on feedback and evolving requirements.
Responsibilities in detail:
Automation Integration for Pharmaceutical Documentation:
• Conduct a thorough assessment of available automation technologies tailored to pharmaceutical documentation.
• Evaluate solutions based on their capacity for efficient data extraction, natural language processing capabilities, and compatibility with existing systems.
• Identify opportunities and prioritize vendors with experience in similar automation projects.
• Develop a comprehensive implementation plan, including scope, timeline, and resource requirements.
• Oversee the successful piloting of the automation solution, monitoring performance closely and gathering feedback for optimization.
• Scale the automation solution to encompass all mandatory documents for both creating new ones and updating existing ones.
FAQ Creation Using Advanced Language Models:
• Utilize advanced language models, such as GenAI, to automate the creation of FAQs from scientific articles.
• Train the language model using existing FAQs and scientific literature from databases like Pubmed or Embase.
• Implement a system for automatic generation and review of FAQs, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.
• Ensure accuracy and relevance of generated FAQs through continuous monitoring and refinement of the language model.
Data Science for Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Insights:
• Develop algorithms and methodologies to extract insights and summaries from detail call notes captured by the MSL team during meetings with doctors.
• Utilize data science techniques to analyze and interpret verbatim discussions, identifying key signals and trends.
• Collaborate with MSL team members and managers to translate raw medical voice of customer into actionable insights.
• Develop algorithms to evaluate insights with quality index.
• Implement automated processes to streamline the generation and assessment of insights, minimizing the need for manual intervention.
• Continuously refine and enhance data science models based on feedback and evolving requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum eight years of experience in data science, automation technologies, or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical documentation processes and medical liaison activities preferred.
• Japanese language proficiency would be beneficial
