The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced finance leader to join our Japan Finance organization as Japan Controller.
Kyndryl Japan is one of Kyndryl's most important and profitable markets globally, generating $2.286B in revenue, $486M in EBITDA, and a 21% EBITDA margin in FY2026.
This is a strategic leadership role acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO and leading Financial Planning & Analysis activities for this critical market.
The successful candidate will drive planning, forecasting, performance management, business analytics, and strategic decision support while partnering closely with senior executives across the business.
The role also provides leadership across revenue planning, financial performance management, and reporting activities, helping senior leadership make informed business decisions and drive sustainable growth.
■Key Responsibilities
・Financial Planning & Analysis
・Lead annual operating planning and forecasting processes
・Drive revenue, profitability, and cash flow analysis
・Lead business performance reviews and provide financial insights to support management decision-making
・Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs
・Deliver actionable business insights to support performance improvement
・Strategic Business Partnership
・Partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership team
・Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis
・Identify business opportunities and potential risks
・Drive financial performance and value creation initiatives
・Provide insights and recommendations to support business growth and operational excellence
・Team Leadership
・Manage and develop a team of finance professionals
・Build strong partnerships across business and finance organizations
・Collaborate with global and regional finance leaders
・Lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
・Strategic Impact
Serve as a key business partner to the CFO and influence critical business decisions across Kyndryl Japan.

Who You Are
■Required Qualifications
・10+ years of Finance and/or Accounting experience
・Significant FP&A leadership experience
・Experience working within multinational organizations
・Strong people management experience
・Executive-level stakeholder management capability
・Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
■Preferred Qualifications
・Controller, Finance Director, or Head of FP&A experience
・MBA and/or CPA qualification
・Change management experience
・Experience within Technology Services, Consulting, or Professional Services industries
