Position: Corporate/M&A Lawyer (Japan)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $140–$150/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: ~10 hours
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated responses to Japanese law questions using two AI (LLM) platforms.
- Compare outputs side by side and score them against a standardized rubric.
- Provide concise written feedback for each evaluation to enhance AI performance.
- Work independently and adhere to deadlines while maintaining confidentiality under NDA.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Primarily law-firm experience — at least 2 years (3+ preferred) in corporate/M&A or transactional practice.
- Qualified to practise in Japan, with strong knowledge of Japanese corporate and commercial law.
- Native or fluent Japanese, with precise written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently to a rubric and meet deadlines.
