Your responsibilities:
Savings and Cost Optimization:
- Lead cost-saving initiatives in the Brazil organization
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve significant savings without compromising on quality or service levels.
- Regularly analyze market trends and spend data to identify new savings opportunities.
Vendor Consolidation and Management:
- Drive vendor consolidation projects to streamline the supply base and leverage volume.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms.
- Evaluate vendor performance and compliance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Category Management:
- Conduct comprehensive category reviews and develop category-specific strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and operational site management to align sourcing strategies with broader business goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the local organization in Brazil
- Collaborate regularly with stakeholders to report on progress, savings, and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Fluent in English
