We are seeking a Junior Accountant who will own all aspects of the local accounting operation. This person will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
What You’ll Do:

Employees’ Corporate Expense Reimbursements
・You will check and process employees’ corporate expense reimbursements using SAP Concur and Oracle NetSuite.
Vendor Accounts Payable (AP) Postings and Payments
・You will check and process vendor payments using Approve.com, SAP Concur, Oracle NetSuite and Internet Bank portals.
a) Monthly payment proposals and aging list control
b) Accrued expenses booking
c) Intercompany payments (employee expenses, etc.)
Master data maintenance
・You will register and maintain the records of vendors and employees using Oracle NetSuite and SAP Concur.
Metrics and KPI’s
・You will report monthly operational control metrics using MS Excel for analysis and improvement in collaboration with other members of the organization.
Tax
・You will oversee local Tax payments and materials preparation for year-end tax calculations (e.g., corporate income tax and consumption tax).

Invoices Preparation and Customer Accounts Receivable
・Eventually, the ideal candidate will prepare customer sales orders and invoices in NetSuite (experience using Google Spreadsheet is a plus).
Others
Although mainly operational tasks may be assigned, eventually good performers will take care of minimal administrative tasks, as well as other accounting related projects the company may consider necessary.
Education and Experience requirements:
・Minimum two years of Accounts Payable operational experience or similar position (experience in Accounts Receivable is a plus)
・Nissho Boki 3rd level certified or equivalent knowledge
・Excellent Japanese language skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
・Ability to use English-based applications (reading and writing), daily conversation level is a plus
