DuPont Adhesives business is global leader in automotive adhesives market with continuous innovation and success with leading OEMs. With electric vehicle adoption expected to increase exponentially over the next few decades, automakers and tier suppliers are increasingly shifting their focus towards fully-electric vehicle components and systems, which generating complex automotive challenges and opportunities. We have a wide portfolio of solutions for auto electrification, such as battery pack thermal management components and assembly, light-weighting and E-powertrain segments etc. As key part of global automotive industry, Japan OEMs are driving to e-mobility and lightweight development with huge opportunities in coming years. To further develop business and closely provide DuPont innovation solution to Japan OEMs, Adhesives business is committing and investing in Japan with assets and resource. This position will play the key role to lead and drive the cross-regional Japan OEMs business growth with an important impact globally.

Scope of work:

  • Accountable for outstanding businesses and financial results of J-OEM key accounts in Japan  
  • Lead and collaborate on J-OEMs global key account plans develop with strong cooperation relationships in Japan HQ, expanding cross-region sales activities within the global network
  • Build up robust sales pipeline to drive profitable growth in Japan and help transfer oversea projects in LJO (Landed Japan Operation).
  • Closely work with marketing team to build up Japan OEMs market intelligence and develop strategic plan  
  • Implement global electrification sales and marketing strategy to build up DuPont’s leadership position in J-OEMs


  •  Bachelor or master’s degree, with Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 5-10 years working experience connecting with Automotive industry
  • Experience in Global Key account management for OEMs. E-mobility or Battery development experience will be plus
  • Strong innovation project management experience and ability to prioritize
  • Global mindset and ability to understand and execute businesses strategy
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills and networking within customer’s multi-level organization  
  • Proactive, aggressive, result oriented and strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Willing to travel overseas  

Key product:

Structural adhesives, Glass bonding Elastic adhesives, Battery application such as Thermal management materials in automotive industry or others

Scope of customers:

Automotive OEMs and component suppliers related to adhesive application
