To lead the end-to-end logistics operations for Japan Henkel Consumer Business,ensuring optimal service to customers while driving cost efficiency, processexcellence, and alignment with regional/global strategies.

C. Main tasks & responsibilities
1. Lead day-to-day warehouse and transportation operations (inbound/outbound,inventory control, VAS) in compliance with safety and quality standards.
2. Manage 3PL partners to ensure service performance, cost control, andcontract compliance.
3. Drive logistics planning including mid- to long-term capacity forecasting,budgeting, and KPI tracking.
4. Identify and implement logistics optimization initiatives (e.g., routeoptimization, load consolidation, warehouse relocation)
5. Collaborate closely with demand planning, sales, and marketing to ensuresupply chain alignment.
8. Act as a key contact point for major retail customers, resolving escalationsand fostering customer satisfaction.

1. Lead logistics projects such as SAP/ERP upgrades, warehouse transitions, anddigital transformation initiatives.
2. Collaborate with APAC/Global teams on regional initiatives, compliance, andbest practice sharing.
3. Ensure business continuity and risk mitigation (e.g., during system outagesor external disruptions).

What makes you a good fit

Must Have

Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics.
Experience in FMCG warehouse operations or FMCG handling within a 3PL/contract logistics environment.
Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
Working knowledge of WMS and ERP systems.
Proven people management experience with 3+ directreports

Project management experience is preferred.
