About the role:

The Mobile Maintenance team is currently seeking a Maintainer Diesel Fitter to join the Hauling and Ancillary crew.
Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Maintenance, you will be responsible for providing repairs and maintenance to a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, consisting of production loaders and a range of ancillary equipment, including electric and mechanical drive trucks.

Duties

• Carrying out inspections, servicing, repairs, and maintenance to the heavy equipment fleet
• Resolving mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively to ensure vehicle availability
• Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed
• Applying knowledge of products, techniques, and processes to carry out tasks

Skills and experience

• Australian recognised trade certificate required
• Forklift, EWP, crane, dogging and basic rigging licences required
• Current WA manual C class driver’s licence required
• Experience maintaining the following heavy mobile equipment –
  - Caterpillar Dump Trucks (793F)
  - Hitachi Electric Drive Dump Truck (EH5000/EH4000)
  - Caterpillar Graders (24M/16M)
  - Caterpillar Wheel Loader/Dozer (994K/994H/992K and 854K)
