Are you excited about using your language skills to offer excellent resources to Canadians who speak French? We’re looking for a passionate and creative bilingual content creator to drive the success of our clients by helping and enabling them to understand our platform. Our vision is for this individual to adapt and create the go-to source of education and inspiration for all things Humi-related—in French. That means we need an experienced and outside-the-box thinker to join our Knowledge Management Team (KM) to lead the charge!

What will you be doing as a Bilingual Knowledge Management Associate?

  • Adapting existing content from English to French across our Help Centre
  • Being on top of industry trends, and becoming a research guru to develop content themes and stories that will resonate with Canadian businesses
  • Helping to establish Humi as a go-to resource for the most engaging and innovative content
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand needs and updating or creating new support articles and videos for the Help Centre
  • Assessing, evaluating, and proposing solution plans to improve current content
  • Interpreting and promoting knowledge management standards and guidelines, best practices, and state-of-the-art approaches
  • Translating, creating, updating, and managing all French client-facing training and onboarding materials
  • Developing initiatives to improve client usage & accessibility of existing content and resources
  • Working closely with the KM team to present content in appealing and intuitive ways for a variety of audiences
  • Oversee and maintain our French Revenue & Growth internal knowledge database
  • Create innovative and engaging content that encourages clients to use the Help Centre first and promote ticket deflection

In your first 30 days, you will:

  • Participate in Humi's Newmigo Immersive Onboarding Program
  • Be introduced to the Knowledge Management
  • Be introduced to the Revenue & Growth team
  • Be introduced to the product and service line stakeholders
  • Learn about our sales process and competitor landscape with the Sr. Sales Manager
  • Manage day-to-day expectations
  • Discuss KPIs and career development roadmap
  • Receive access and training to tools: Zendesk, Notion, Crowdin, etc.
  • Get a walkthrough of the client implementation process
  • Receive platform training on all our modules: HR, Payroll and Benefits
  • Pair-tackle client tickets to get an understanding of the most common questions
  • Shadow RG calls: HR, Payroll and Benefits
  • Shadow sales calls

In your first 60 days, you will:

  • Have strong product knowledge
  • Adapt and translate existing support articles into French
  • Update support articles
  • Write new support articles
  • Collaborate with the KM Team to prioritize the French adaptation of our existing articles
  • Meet with the Product Marketing team on a recurring basis to align on release timelines
  • Present content in appealing, intuitive ways for a variety of audiences
  • Join Product & Support feedback meetings for a strong understanding of product gaps and bugs
  • Be responsible for KPIs
  • Attend professional development workshops: Excel, SQL, personal finance etc.

In your first 90 days, you will:

  • Balance multiple article translation projects and liaise with different department stakeholders to complete the projects
  • Have a strong understanding of Humi’s capabilities
  • Independently assess, evaluate, and propose solution plans to improve current content
  • Interpret and promote knowledge management standards and guidelines, best practices, and state-of-the-art approaches
  • Translate, create, update and manage all French client-facing training and onboarding materials
  • Develop initiatives to improve client usage & accessibility of existing content and resources
  • Participate in your first quarterly performance review

In your first year, you will:

  • Demonstrate strong product and industry knowledge to help build appealing, intuitive ways for our clients
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Deploy initiatives that improved client usage & accessibility of existing content and resources
  • Own the ongoing adaptation of Help Centre content into French
  • Create and implement a best-in-class knowledge management system and distribution
  • Have an affinity for troubleshooting and problem identification
  • Collaborate professionally with multiple departments: product, product marketing, design etc to improve the client experience
  • Have strong organizational skills
  • Mentor new hires and teach them best practice
  • Participate in your first annual review

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Passion for translating and adapting content with accuracy and confidence
  • Creativity that will challenge the team to think outside of what we’ve already done
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technology in a clear, concise, and effective manner for a wide range of audiences
  • A resourceful attitude and thrive in ambiguity
  • A strong work ethic with a constant desire to improve through constructive feedback
  • To be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency
  • Social media finesse

You might be the person we’re looking for if you:

  • Are fluent in Canadian French and English
  • Have meaningful experience translating large-scale projects
  • Have exceptional storytelling and instructional capabilities
  • Are eager to learn and grow - you’ve likely attended post-secondary education and continue to seek opportunities to level up your skills or have equivalent professional experience in a similar role
  • Can grasp onto new tools and systems quickly - we use Crowdin for translations, Slack for communication and coordination, Zendesk for publishing content, Notion for our planning, and Asana to track our tasks and projects
  • Enjoy collaboration and working as an integral member of a small team
  • Resonate strongly with all of our core values

Bonus points if you:

  • Have worked in a SaaS company or general experience in the Tech industry
  • Have existing knowledge of current business, financial, and/or government structures in Quebec, Canada
  • Have video editing skills
